Raven and Sparrow Lingerie

Raven and Sparrow is a lingerie company owned by Stephanie Seymour. It is sold

at Barney’s NY and L.A.. It is named after the two birds, a raven and sparrow

and is a reference to Dolly Parton songs. Ravens being dark and representing

sultriness in imagery and sparrows lighter colored and more 

innocent. This is a new endeavor for the 90’s supermodel who posed 

for Victoria’s Secret for 10 years, has a focus on the lingerie world and an eye 

for fashion design. She has been influenced by designers such as ; Azzedine Alaia,

Versace and Escada as well as being in the Sport’s Illustrated Swimsuit Edition and 

in major fashion magazines. She is one of the muses for the line and

uses creativity, posing in meadows of flowers and using scenic backdrops.  She

has been in music videos for Guns N’ Roses and is currently married to art collector 

Peter Brant. The lingerie market is competitive and hopefully this lingerie has a

unique look and will be successful. They have lace gown pieces which

differ from Italian La Perla, Agent Provocateur and Victoria’s Secret.
