Dolce and Gabbana Brings Sicilian Sizzle to Kitchen Decor

Dolce and Gabbana has launched a selection of home decor

products with Italian company Smeg and the promotion

“From Sicily with Love” They have juicers, mixers, blenders

and toasters with D and G icons of peaches lemons and leaves.

They have fashion wear and turned it into home ware. It is sold

in Williams Sonoma, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom’s and online

websites, they retail for $650.00. The company is not the first

fashion label for home design there is Ralph Lauren Home,

Missoni and Hermes. Dolce and Gabbana has been famous

for their use of red, yellow and green palettes as well as

floral and crown patterns. The design house has limited edition

refrigerators with an Italian opera scene, colorful patterns and

island theme which should store more then cold cash for $50,000.

Fiat and Smeg carry a cooler designed as a red car. The brand’s

advertising campaigns portray the sunny island and heritage

heritage and give a feel for the vacation enclave. It is a lifestyle
