Bruno Magli opened a pop up store in Soho this September. It features fashion and their iconic shoe label, but the store’s goal is to merge fashion with culture by the means of mixing in a gallery, events and a cafe. The parent company, Marquee, which owns BCBG Max Azria as well as Body Glam is trying an interactive approach in a NY trendy shopping neighborhood. They are having an event today which features clothing and one can try Halo Top ice cream. Recently, Magli had an event which helps support Career Gear, a non profit, which uplifts job seekers with a new wardrobe, 20 % of the profits went to this organization from each customer’s purchase. The mix of a social and interactive space with fashion will make strides in the competitive design world. The Magli brothers who stared the company in Bologna, Italy, post World War 2, created well designed men’s shoes and tailored clothing and then launched a women’s line. This pop up shop is located at 120 Wooster Street, for further information, look online at http://www.brunomaglipopupshopnyc.com.
